ANGER ANGER

ANGER

ANGER is a 12 part audio / visual experience which follows the adventures of Queen Elizabeth II into a post-apocalyptic Covid-riddled world. I wrote and produced this during the global lockdown of 2020, in collaboration with creatives in the UK and Germany, also stuck at home on their laptops.

This medieval / sci-fi nightmare is a tongue-in-cheek reflection of the post-truth age we are living through. Covid-19, Brexit, the British class system, monarchy, mental health, free will and suicide are dramatised in this work.

As the “Leavers“ rush to escape their human bodies by transforming into mech-organic creatures, the “Remainers“ scramble to find some way to survive without them. Armies of Key Workers toil on through the toxic haze and disease, as the elites reveal their new immune bodies to the applause of the global media. Elizabeth, lost and unrecognisable in this new world, would catalyse a transformation quite unlike the others - a being which would change everything.

Space Croutons - a Podcast

Space Croutons - a Podcast: In season one, Curdy presented stories from listeners about their strange and unexplainable experiences involving objects with unusual powers in hopes that someone out there can figure out what the heck is going on. This led to a showdown in the Woodn't. In season two his travel logs through time, space and other dimensions indicate that all is not resolved just yet.

The Book of Constellations The Book of Constellations

The Book of Constellations

A down-to-Earth sci-fi road trip, The Book of Constellations is a story about Rael, who claims to be the sole survivor of an alien race, as told by Simon, the man who went with him. On a quest to save humanity from the same malevolent force that destroyed his own people, Rael believes this “Darkness” resides in the Governor of the state. Rael makes his way west to the Capitol armed with nothing but his uncanny perception and empathy. He gathers allies along the way from the forgotten and lost of America. Rael’s obsession won’t allow him to mourn another world, but how far is he willing to go to save us?

The Book of Constellations is narrated audio drama, written, produced and performed by W. Keith Tims.

What Will Be Here? What Will Be Here?

What Will Be Here?

In What Will Be Here?, five friends send a rocket to space with a collection of recordings on it that document the world’s decline, the stories they want to tell, and their efforts in building this rocket to get their message to the stars. They wonder what their world will have become by the time their message is listened to. What will be left of a planet that has destroyed itself? What will be left of the people who lived there? What will become of their stories? What will be here?At its core, this show is about living and creating when things feel pointless. It's a story that came out of the pandemic, and the landscape in which this story was written and produced greatly influenced how it turned out. What Will Be Here? is set on earth 200 years in the future, where large-scale crises are fully normalized. But despite the bleak backdrop, this story is one of hope - of overcoming challenges, of making things that might be temporary, but also things that might be launched into space and continue on forever.
